Accessibility statement
This website should be easy for everyone to use, including with a keyboard, screen magnifier or screen reader. This page says what I do for that and where things still fall short.
1What the statement covers
The statement covers all pages of this website, including the shop, configurator, cabin booking and forms. It does not cover Stripe’s payment page or pages of other providers that I link to.
2Legal situation
Online shops fall under European accessibility law. Microenterprises providing services are exempt (Art. 4(5) Directive (EU) 2019/882, § 6(3) of the Danish lov om tilgængelighedskrav, § 3(3) BFSG). Whether this applies to my business: Details to follow: confirmation of microenterprise status (staff, turnover). I make this statement voluntarily.
3Accessibility status
The standard is the WCAG 2.2 guideline at level AA. The website is built for it:
- All text and control colours have a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1.
- Everything can be operated with the keyboard, focus is always visible, and a link at the top of the page jumps straight to the content.
- Form fields have visible labels. Errors appear directly at the field and are announced to screen readers.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels high.
- Motion on the page can be switched off in the footer. If “Reduce motion” is set on your system, the page stays still from the start.
- Photos have text descriptions; purely decorative images are skipped.
- The pages have a clear heading order and can be enlarged up to 200 percent.
Result of the test: Details to follow: result of the final test (automated and manual).
4Known limitations
- The payment page belongs to Stripe. I cannot influence how accessible it is.
- The security check on the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) usually runs invisibly. If it does not work, you can reach me by email or phone.
- The contract documents that come as PDFs with the order confirmation are also available as pages on this website.
5Reporting barriers
If you come across a barrier, please write to me at Staldnordkap@live.de or call +45 23 34 98 75. Tell me which page it was on and what did not work. I will reply and help you another way, for example with an order by email. You can also use the contact form.
6Responsible authority
In Denmark, the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen, Market Surveillance) supervises the accessibility of products and services.
